My name is Scot Holliday. My vision is that I teach people how to consciously connect their heart and mind, be aware of their way of being, follow their inner compass, and realize their dreams. The organizational scientist Karl E. Weick once wrote,“How can I know what I think until I see what I say?” By that I believe he meant that when a person focuses on being more aware, he or she will become more aware. Writing down what we think and feel, and then reflecting on what we wrote is one way of becoming more aware. In 2018, I did a radio interview that helped me become more aware. This website is in itself another tool for becoming more aware.
On Oct. 22, 2018, I did an interview with Patti Intoranat, on her show, Get It Straight From The Source, live from BBM Global Network and Tune in Radio. She asked me, “What message I would you like to share with the world?” I feel the two most important lessons humans need to learn are to be, (1) conscious and (2) loving. I try to teach these two lessons at every opportunity I get. Later on I realized if a person is loving, then she or he is already conscious, so it is really just one lesson. I have learned to teach anyone, we also need to learn from those same people. Everyone is our teacher. I enjoy learning from every person I meet. The people we see the most often are our greatest teachers, teaching us something everyday. Sometimes this teaching comes through mirroring what we are projecting. Other times people teach us by sharing their experiences and what they each notice. When someone listens intently they are teaching us to be better teachers. There are many ways we teach each other.
